The Monroe Council of the Arts Corporation (MCAC) is currently in the midst of its annual fundraising and membership drive. One of the cornerstones of this effort is the "Out of the Closet" Art Auction, which will be held March 26 at the Wyndam Casa Marina Resort in Key West.
The MCAC is inviting art collectors to look around their homes and offices for gently used fine art to donate to this auction. All donated artwork is tax deductible and the money garnered from the sale of these items is used by the Arts Council to benefit many of its programs, such as the popular Artists in School Program and ArtWorks, an arts-based intervention program for teens.
Want to donate some art? Call Nance Frank at 296-3883.
