North Roosevelt Traffic Interruptions

Traffic will be interrupted at several major Key West intersections along North Roosevelt Boulevard at night from Sunday, May 12, to Friday, May 17, while contractors repave them. Key West police officers will be present to direct traffic where lanes are narrowed. The work will start at 8 p.m. each evening, ending at 6 a.m. the next morning at the following intersections: The "triangle" at the entrance/exit to the island; Kennedy Drive; MacMillan Drive; First Street.



City Finance Dept. Wins Award

There is, apparently, an award for everything. The City of Key West has received a Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the Government Finance Officers Association of the U.S. and Canada. The City's Finance Department has been presented with a Certificate of Recognition for Budget Preparation.
