Danny Morris Band Kicks Off Conch Republic Party

THE RED HOT DANNY MORRIS BAND will help kick off this year's Conch Republic Independence Celebration at the Schooner Wharf Bar this evening, Friday, April 19. The Caribbean Queen Junkanoo Band plays 7-8. Danny Morris hits the stage at 8 and goes `til 1. The band is also at Schooner Wharf Saturday night, 8-1, and Sunday night, 7-11. The band moves to the Green Parrot on Monday and Tuesday nights, April 22-23, 10-2. Morris, who has played in Key West many times, has electrified the club circuit with his blues and surf-rock style.



Baeder Joins Reggae Party

Grammy-award-nominated Larry Baeder will be the Reggae Party's special guest tonight, Friday, April 19, 6-10 at Virgilio's.



Mambo! Cabaret Diosa Is Back

MAMBO! The popular Cabaret Diosa has three gigs here this week: Sunday night, April 21, at the Green Parrot Bar, 10-2, and at the Schooner Wharf Bar, Wednesday and Thursday, April 24-25, 7-Midnight. They are too good to miss!



Sunday Showcase At the Pier House

Larry Smith will be showcasing singer Shirley Murphy this Sunday, April 21, 10 p.m., in the piano bar at the Pier House Resort. In honor of the Conch Republic Independence Celebration, Shirley will be performing compositions by Key West songwriters, whose subject matter includes manatees, chickens, mosquitoes, tourists and bar flies.
