If you're into jazz you can head for the American bar where concert pianist Franko Richmond will have New York's Dave Snavely on drums and Quint Lange on percussion for an exciting sound. Franko's "Concerto Latino" will be performed at TWFAC in March. You can also find jazz at the Casa Marina. Josh Breakstone, Hal Howland, Mark Hamza, and Nicole Yarling will be at Flagler's from nine till one.
Kelly's has our primo jazz trio, Dave Burns, Lonnie Jacobson, and Roger Van Zant for a dinner dance. The charge is $75 a person, and reservations are going fast. Gordy Michael will be playing in Nicola's at the Hyatt.
Barry Cuda, the pianimal himself will be at the new Cudjoe Landing, but if you want to hear this boogie woogie/barrelhouse virtuoso, make a reservation. There are only 75 seats, and they're going fast.
Those marvelous rockers Acoustic Thunder are at the Bull. As Carly says, nonody does it better! Ecliff and Swing Dogs will be on stage at Margaritaville, and the Conch Republic Seafood Restaurant will present Zack Seemiller while Hog's Breath offers the totally wonderful Thompson Brothers. Rockin' Jake will ring in 2002 at the Green Parrot.
More rock, you say? The best acoustic classic rock duo you may ever hear, Black and Skabuddah will be at Captain Tony's. Guitarist Toby McGregor will start things out at Blue Heaven, followed by Soul Shaker.
Larry Smith and Christine Cordone will entertain you royally at the Rooftop. They are truly marvelous. The La Concha has Daywood from New York.
Schooner Wharf will have the Reggae Party following Mike McCloud and friends, with Bobby J. as Elvis, followed by Grinn. Sloppy Joe's will feature Swoon. So get out there and party into 2002.
