Free Stuff For Locals

The Schooner Western Union, the flagship of the City of Key West, has returned to port after refurbishing— and locals can sail free this Sunday, October 7. All you need are reservations and proof of residency. Info: 292-1766. Also on Sunday, locals can get in free at the Key West Aquarium, the Key West Shipwreck Historeum, Flagler Station Over-sea Railway Historeum, and the Harry S. Truman Little White House.

While visiting each of the attractions, locals can also sign up for their Historic Tours of America Hometown Pass. The Hometown Pass gives locals free admission at all of the attractions. County Records Now Available On-Line

Many Monroe County records are now available on-line at www.clerk-of-the-court.com. The site provides access to official records, court cases, Board of County Commission meeting minutes, agendas, resolutions and ordinances. Other helpful information regarding jury service, marriage licenses, passports, domestic/repeat violence, fee schedules and forms is also available. There is no charge for viewing or printing any documents on this site, but such copies are not official unless certified by the Clerk's Office.



Padron Elected Veep Of Statewide Electric Association

Robert R. Padron, Chairman of the Utility Board of the City of Key West, has been named Vice President of the Florida Municipal Electric Association. This puts him in line to serve as the organization's president in 2003-04.
