Joe Pais Named Assistant Director Of AIDS Help

Former City Commissioner Joe Pais has returned to Key West and has joined the staff of AIDS Help as assistant director. Pais returns to Key West after resigning his position as Supervisor of Statewide Museum Service with the Division of Historical Resources, Department of State, Tallahassee. Pais came to Key West in 1980 as area manager of Tele-Communications, Inc. (TCI). He was also owner/general manager of the Lane Gallery of Fine Arts. He joined Key West Art & Historical Society as Assistant Director and Financial Officer in 1987. He served as City Commissioner in Key West from 1991-1995.



City Commission Candidates On The Radio Sunday

George Maurer and John Young, candidates for the District 3 City Commission seat, will appear as guests on the Jerry Coleman Show, this Sunday morning, August 19, 8 a.m., on Island 107.1 FM.
