Another Hot Music Week On the Rock!

To look at all the music headliners in town this weekend, you might think it's High Season here, rather than the dog days of mid-August.

Tonight, Friday, August 17, sexy New York diva Nicole J. McCloud brings her high-energy dance band to Virgilio's.

Down the street at the Schooner Wharf Bar, the popular Oysters Fantastic Band is back in town. They'll be on stage both tonight and tomorrow night, Friday and Saturday, 7-midnight.

Tomorrow night, Saturday, the hot young band K-Floor will be at the Green Parrot Bar, 10-2. These guys were named the "Best Band in Philadelphia" last year. They've appeared with James Brown, Los Lobos, Smashmouth and other heavies.

Later in the week, popular guitar diva Joanna Connor returns to the Parrot for three nights— Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, August 22-24.

It may not be "season"— but it is a hot summer!

Jack Nasty Band Will Play At Woodstock

WOODSTOCK BOUND— Key West's premier classic rock band, Jack Nasty, will be heading for Woodstock to play the festival. Radio personality Bill Hoebee will be one of the three MCs. The band will play Friday night under the lights and will be filmed for MTV and others. Brian Davis is Jack Nasty. Jack plays guitar and sings lead. Pete Frazier plays drums and also sings lead. Craig Eubanks plays guitar, and Flip Ferrari plays bass and sings back-up. The popular Jack Nasty Band is a Key West institution, having played here for years. Two of the members are veterans of major rock bands.
