Back in the late 70s, singer/songwriter Ben Harrison used to entertian Mel Fisher's treasure-hunting divers during happy hour at Two Friends. This Sunday night, he'll be the guest artist at the Pier House's Sunday Showcase, with Larry Smith. Music starts at 8.

Steel Band & Caribbean Food Festival Saturday

They'll be jammin' this Saturday, April 21, at the Key West Steel Band & Caribbean Food Festival at the East Martello Museum, next to the airport, 11 a.m. `til 5 p.m. The entertainment lineup includes the Gerald Adams Juggling Club, the Steel Your Heart Band, Trinidadian pannist Jim Wist, and Trinidad Joe and his island tales. All day tickets are $3 for students, $5 for adults and family tickets for $12. This benefit, to help further steel pan education in Monroe County Schools, is supported in part by the Monroe Council of the Arts and Key West Art & Historical Society.
