KWPD Community Service Aide Suspended With Pay

Key West Police Dept. Community Service Aide Raymond Bloodworth has been placed on administrative leave with pay while City Manager Julio Avael decides his fate. Last week, on Jan. 11, Bloodworth was arrested and jailed after the City behicle he was driving crashed into four parked cars in the 2900 block of Flagler Avenue. Bloodworth's vehicle was reportedly totalled. Bloodworth was arrested after he failed a roadside sobriety test, according to the police report. Avael conducted a predetermination hearing Tuesday. His decision is pending.
