Hot Weekend: New Orleans Blues At the Parrot; Texas Blues At Schooner Wharf

Two top blues harmonica players are in town for the weekend.

Rockin' Jake and his blues band are back at the Gree Parrot for three rockin' nights— tonight, Saturday and Sunday, December 29-31, 10-2. A few years ago, Jake was named the best blues harmonica player in New Orleans.

But the guy who was named the best blues hamonica player in Texas— Randy McAllister— is playing right down the street at the Schooner Wharf Bar with his band, El Loco Texans. They're playing 7-11 tonight and tomorrow night, Friday and Saturday; and 9-2 on New Years Eve.

Evalena, who run things at the Schooner Wharf, promises music all day and party favors for all— plus the "lowering of the wench" at 12.
