The Cuban American Heritage Festival, celebrating Key West's rich Cuban heritage, continues through Sunday.
A highlight of the festival a Coast-to-Coast Conga Line happens this evening, Friday, Nov. 3. Participants will meet at the Southernmost Point Guesthouse, 1327 Duval St., at 7 p.m., and dance 14 blocks to Mallory Square from the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico.
At 9 p.m., Latin jazz superstar Nestor Torres will be in concert on the beach at the Pier House Resort. Tickets are $20. Info: 296-4600.
During the day, the Cuban American Symposium continues at the San Carlos Institute, 516 Duval st. Presentations by scholars, authors, and historians. Admission free. Topics:

There are also free narrated Cuban Heritage Trail tours aboard the Old Town Trolley all weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tours depart from the San Carlos Institute at 10 a.m. Participation is free, but space is limited.
Tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 4, there will be a street festival on Duval Street from Front Street to Truman Avenue. Live entertainment from 11 a.m. on stage at 516 Duval. Comparsa dance exhibition at 2. Salsa dance contest at 3.
A concert of Latin music will kick off on Mallory Square Saturday evening at 8. Music by Hansel Y Raul, Los Doctores del Ritmo and Caribe. Tickets $25 at the gate.
On Sunday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m., the Sunrise Rotary Club is serving Cuban breakfast/brunch/lunch at
Bayview Park. Prices start at $5 per meal. From 11 a.m.-4 p.m., there will be storytelling, dominoes, a
decorated bicycle contest, and comparsa dancing.

The Green Parrot Bar and the Schooner Wharf Bar continue to be two of the hottest music venues
on the island. The popular Lady "A" Blues Band returns to the Schooner Wharf tonight, Friday, Nov. 3,
7-midnight. New Orleans bluesman Brint Anderson is at the Parrot, both tonight and tomorrow night,
10-2. Jim Morris and the Big Bamboo Band returns to the Schooner for two nights, Saturday and Sunday, Nov.
4-5, 7-midnight. This Tuesday night, Nov. 7, the wild West Indies will meet Bonanza when the
Reggae Cowboys hit the stage at the Green Parrot, 10-2.
Next Friday and Saturday nights, Nov. 10-11, concerts of Latin/South American music at the Waterfront Playhouse will benefit WomanKind, Inc., a nonprofit organization for women's health care. The band: Solazo, from South America. Tickets are $15 in advance at Sam Goody and Records and Rogues.
