KEY WEST FAVORITE Sam Anderson returns to Key West for two gigs this week. This Sunday night, August 6, he'll join local talent C. W. Colt and Chief Billy Ochoa at the Green Parrot Bar's Singer-Songwriter Night, starting at 8 p.m. This Wednesday, Aug. 9, Anderson will be at the Schooner Wharf Bar, 7-11. Anderson lived in Key West for a number of years, but now he plays clubs from Maine to Florida. KWTN music reviewer called Anderson's work "an act so above the ordinary as to be in the as-yet unknown superstar league . . . A younger, more sophisticated John Prine." The late Shel Silverstein called him "a finished product."
