Megastar John Hall, above right, and his band will perform at the Schooner Wharf this Monday evening, Feb. 14, 7-11 p.m. Hall, a singer, songwriter and guitar virtuoso, first came into prominence in the mid-70s when his band, Orleans, topped the charts with Hall's "Dance With Me" and "Still The One." He also wrote, "Half Moon" and "Me and Bobby McGee" for Janis Joplin. Over the years he has toured and recorded with some of the music business heavyweights like Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, and Little Feat.

You don't have to be a Minnesota Fats to play in Stick `n Stein's new Monday pool league. Steve DeGraffe, owner of The Stick `n Stein is organizing the new Conch Republic Pool League, set to begin Feb. 14.
"Since players earn a handicap as in tennis and golf, every team has a chance to win, regardless of the skill level of its players," De Graffe said. Skill levels will range from beginners to very good players. The ages run from 18 to the 60s. And there are lots of women players. The are four members per team and up to four alternates. The league will play on Mondays at 8.
Cost is $5 per player per night. The league will play every Monday night at 8.
