Woodenhead Is Summer Home For Artists

Woodenhead Center for the Arts, 907 Caroline Street, is the new summer home for Keys artists Lisa Esposito, Tom Chittenden and Kate Peachey. Gallery owners Bev and Danielle Horlick have allowed the space to be used as a studio/showcase while they're traveling, allowing visitors to see the artists at work.

This Sunday, June 30, the group will host a reception from 6-9, with live music by the New Roots Review.

Artist Kate Peachey presents her latest series of oil paintings, "A Wall Of Humans"; stylized portraits and small sculpture inspired by the faces and people in Key West.

Multimedia artist Lisa Esposito will show paintings from her recent shows at the Woodenhead and the Catch, as well as current paintings in progress.

Tom "Port-side Tom" Chittenden is showing ships' figureheads made of foam and resin, statues, copperplate engravings and photographic silkscreen prints.
