New Rick Worth Show

Artist Rick Worth's "Lost and Found" show, featuring found objects reclaimed in the name of art, opens at the Three Legged Dog Gallery tonight, Friday, August 18. A reception is scheduled from 6-9.

Worth, a self-taught artist, captures timeless scenes from Key West neighborhoods and paints them on architectural objects like roofing shingles, window screens, doors, gates and shutters.

Worth has been living and painting in Key West for over 15 years.

He began his career painting the island's conch cruisers into Art Cars. Large public murals on walls soon joined in making the streets of Key West his gallery.

After many years and several shows in local galleries he's opened his own place named for this three-legged companion Kido.

The gallery is located at 1102 White St. Info: 294-3535.
