Art In the Park This Sunday afternoon, Feb. 20, the field behind Fort Zachary Taylor will be dotted with large-scale outdoor sculptures. It's all part of Art In The Park 2000, presented by Friends of Ft. Taylor and masterminded by sculpture Jim Racchi. The work of 15 artists will be featured. There will be an artists' reception 3-6 p.m. Admission to the Fort will be free Sunday afternoon. The show will run through the end of March.
Bertran Show A show featuring recent paintings of Maria Bertran contineues at Harrison Gallery through March 18. Bertran says she is a "Plein Air" painter, searching for "the magical effects of light in the open country and narrow village streets."
Artist Rick Worth's new show opens at his Three Legged Dog Gallery tonight, Feb. 18. The artist's reception starts at 7 p.m. Worth calls the show Candy Bars "sweet little paintings" on Key West shingles. The gallery is located at 1102 White Street.
