The spring holiday will be celebrated from 1 to 3 p.m. April 1 at the Animal Farm under the Monroe County Detention Center off College Road. Children will be treated, free of charge, to Easter treats and an Easter egg hunt.
Everyone is welcome to this family event, where visitors can also visit the farm’s tropical birds, snakes, ferrets, rabbits, horses, ponies, llama, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, a 100-pound tortoise and more.
