In Key West, a Music Weekend Lasts 5 Days

AT THE PARROT Here comes another five-day music weekend at the Green Parrot. Tonight and tomorrow night, the red-hot King Bees fly in at 10. They've rocked the house at European music festivals and deep-South juke joints as well. Big Al and the Heavyweights come in on Sunday night— starting early at 8:30 p.m. They count Blues Brother Dan Akroyd as a fan. Larry Baeder returns to the Parrot this Tuesday and Wednesday, March 19-20, 10-2. His Maximo Street was nominated for a Grammy.

SCHOONER WHARF BAR is also throwing a five-day music party. The almost-local Oysters Fantastic Band will be on stage tonight and tomorrow night, Friday and Saturday, March 15-16. The Schooner will go Irish on Monday for the Bar Stroll. Inca Spice, on tour from Ireland, will be on stage. They'll also be performing Saturday afternoon, 2:30-6:30, and Sunday, 7-11.On Tuesday night, 7-11, the rock-funk band Inner Vision Collision will be rockin' the dock.

AT VIRGILIO'S, Guitarist, singer, songwriter Paul Galestro will be playing the blues at Virgilio's tonight and tomorrow night, Friday and Saturday, March 15-16, at 10 p.m. He and his band have opened for such acts as Foghat, Molly Hatchett, Otis Rush and OTHERS.On Monday, March 17, singer Melissa Penrose will be on stage at 9.
