Rockin' Music Week At the Green Parrot Bar

Green Parrot Manager John Vagnoni has scheduled another super music week. Tonight and tomorrow night, Friday and Saturday, February 1-2, Robert Albury, Key West's own King of Soul, will be on stage 10-2.

Right after the Superbowl on Sunday, Baton Rouge bluesman Larry Garner will rock the house. Garner has won B.B. King's Lucille award and is a five-time Handy nominee.

And on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 5-6, the amazing Guitar Shorty will leap into the Green Parrot at 10 p.m. Shorty is prone to turning somersaults, doing backwards flips and standing on his head— all while delivering some slashing licks on his guitar. In addition to cutting a few popular albums, Shorty recruited Jimi Hendrix as a fan by marrying his stepsister.
