The Florida State Constitution, states that women must be treated equally as men are treated. If men are allowed to go top free, women should be allowed to also. To allow different standards violates the spirit of Florida's Constitution.
After 9/11, you would think that governing agencies would review their policies in relationship to their employers, the citizens of Key West. A government that terrorizes its citizens, through wrongful arrests, needs to change. But, are the commissioners listening? None dare call them Talibans!
However, America being the way it is, it may take a wrongful arrest lawsuit, with punitive damages against all parties involved to get the message heard.
Until the promoters of Fantasy Fest, The Adult Tourist Attraction, can stop the wrongful arrests, we will have to go back to our position prior to October 2000. _7Å3 èThat position, unless we are given information that the wrongful arrests will stop, is to advise people not to visit Key West for Fantasy Fest. A soft boycott of sorts.
