Jerry Garcia Art At Hog's Breath

The late Jerry Garcia's claim to fame is as the lead guitarist and vocalist for the legendary Grateful Dead band. But he was also an artist. An exhibit of his art will be on display at Hog's Breath Saloon this weekend, Friday (noon-10), Saturday (10-10) and Sunday (noon-6).

If you want to wear some Jerry Garcia art, go by Birkenstock at 610 Duval St. and ask about the Jerry Garcia Limited Edition sandals.

No Prudes Allowed

The folks over at Woodenhead Gallery are warning in advance that their almost-Valentine's Day show of erotic art tonight, Friday, Feb. 9, may not be for the prudish. But if you're into bacchanalia— or just curious—you may want to check it out, starting at 7 p.m. Nearly 100 artists are expected to "show you theirs". Also: videos, massage, body painting, erotic poetry—and a surprise stripper— live music, plus an erotic pet parade. The gallery is located at 907 Caroline St. Info: 294-3935.
