Reward Offered In Beating Case

>Crime Stoppers of the Keys is looking for information on who attacked a man in the early morning hours of Sat., Oct. 28, in front of the Veterans of Foreign Wars hall at the corner of Emma and Olivia streets in Key West. The victim was riding a scooter when he was struck from behind and knocked off the scooter. Police have already arrested 23-year-old Louis Smith and 16-year-old Eugene Govan, both charged with robbery and felony battery. Key West police are looking for additional suspects. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 cash for any information pedaling to more arrests in this case. Callers do not have to identify themselves, even to collect the cash reward.
